TSW has played a key role in the development of ScatterScopeTM, which is a small handheld scatterometer running with ScatterMasterTM software. The first version has a fixed incident angle, a laser light source and measures about a quarter of the reflection hemisphere. Measurement and analysis combined are very fast – less than one second. The system may be hand held during operation, as shown in the picture, or may be used on a bench top in a lab situation to measure witness samples.
